Shadow Consort — Episode 17

Elowen, a full-time homemaker, accidentally uncovers a conspiracy in which her husband Killian, her best friend Seraphina, and her mother-in-law have colluded to fabricate a psychiatric report declaring her insane, all in a bid to embezzle a massive family trust. Biding her time, she secretly joins forces with Rowan—her husband’s arch-rival—to launch a counterattack; she feigns madness to gain access to the conspirators' assets and subsequently siphons off the funds. Elowen makes a spectacular return at their engagement party, exposing the plot and the culprits. After Killian is imprisoned, she reclaims everything and emerges as the true power player in New York’s social elite.
